DAY 1: Saturday
TROGIR – PUĆIŠČA
Board your boat in Trogir this morning for your cruise of a lifetime, setting sail for Pućišča. Authentic mediterranean architecture, rustic ambience and its location inside a deep fjord, make this village worth a visit. Built on stone, most of the inhabitants of the town of Pućišča still make a living from it today. White marble from this island was used to build the White House in Washington DC, the Parliament house in Vienna, along with many other famous buildings around the world.
DAY 2: Sunday
PUĆIŠČA – KORCULA
Later, we depart for Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. While sailing, we enjoy lunch on board, and arrive in Korcula in the afternoon. Spend time wandering the narrow streets. Visit the house where Marco Polo was born. Here you will find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else.
DAY 3: Monday
KORCULA – VIS
Early departure this morning to Vis, a picturesque fishing village on the western shore of Vis Island. Vis was closed to tourists for many years due to its strategic geographical position for the navy. As a result, it is still fairly untouched and has a special charm of ‘the Mediterranean as it once was’. This afternoon, take an optional excursion.
DAY 4: Tuesday
Early breakfast this morning, after which you can take an optional excursion to the Blue Grotto on the tiny island of Bisevo. Between 10am and 3pm, the sun’s rays pass through an underwater opening, illuminating the cave in a luminous blue light while objects beneath the surface of the water shimmer in silver and pink. Spend the afternoon in Komiza, returning later to Vis town.
DAY 5: Wednesday
VIS – HVAR – STARI GRAD
Depart today for the island of Hvar. Our first stop will be in the town of Hvar, a town with unique cultural and historical heritage. Spend some time in the old city where you can visit the oldest theatre in Europe. Take a walk to the ancient fortress and experience a view that extends forever. After lunch, we continue to the town of Stari Grad on the northern side of the island. Stari Grad is a UNESCO world heritate site and one of the oldest towns in Europe.
DAY 6: Thursday
STARI GRAD – SPLIT
Today we continue on to Split where you can join a guided tour of Split with an English speaking guide, or wander through the ancient streets and explore the markets. Split is a monument city under UNESCO protection. Here we find an abundance of Roman architecture – of special interest is the Diocletian palace.
DAY 7: Friday
SPLIT – TROGIR
Late departure this morning. We will stop to swim in a little bay on the island of Solta before arriving in Trogir. Trogir is often referred to as ‘miniature Venice’. It has masterful architecture and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Spend the evening enjoying this medieval city.
